Volunteers Needed to Help Make Copperbrook’s National Night Out a Wild Success
Copperbrook residents are getting ready to bring the fun to Charles W. Austin Park for this year’s National Night Out celebration, and organizers are calling on the community to lend a helping hand.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the neighborhood park located at 8515 Willancy Lane — and the theme this year is “Where the Wild Things Are,” setting the stage for a night of adventure, laughter, and connection.
But before the magic can happen, a few more volunteers are needed.
“If you’ve been looking for a fun, simple way to get involved in Copperbrook, this is it,” said Mabeleine Bulan with the Copperbrook HOA Board. “We’re asking residents to pitch in however they can — whether that’s helping with setup, greeting folks as they arrive, running a game booth, or sticking around to clean up at the end. Every bit of help makes a difference.”

The National Night Out tradition has become a beloved event across Copperbrook and throughout the country, bringing neighbors together with local law enforcement to build stronger, safer communities. And while the bounce houses, food, games, and giveaways tend to steal the show, it’s the friendly faces behind the scenes that keep it all running smoothly.
To sign up as a volunteer, residents can simply fill out a short online form at https://form.jotform.com/252456184855163.
“This is about more than just having a great time — it’s about strengthening the bonds that make Copperbrook feel like home,” Bulan added. “When we all pitch in together, we’re not just throwing a party… we’re building a better neighborhood.”
So whether you’ve got an hour or an evening to give, now’s the time to raise your hand and be part of the crew. Let’s make this year’s National Night Out one to remember — wild costumes, community spirit, and all.
