Volunteers Needed for The Colonies’ Halloween Spooktacular Bash: Join the Fun Behind the Scenes
It’s almost time for one of the most anticipated events of the season in The Colonies — the Halloween Spooktacular Bash — and community organizers are putting out a call for volunteers to help bring this festive night to life.
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, this is a perfect opportunity to get involved and be part of the Halloween fun from the inside out. Volunteers are needed for both setup and takedown, as well as to support operational tasks during the event itself.
From spooky decorations to spirited games, it takes a village to pull off an event like this. Organizers are asking for helping hands to assist with:
- Setting up and breaking down the Haunted House and Monster Spider
- Arranging tents, tables, and chairs
- Icing down drinks and setting up trash stations
- Helping keep the event area tidy and safe for kids
- Interacting with young attendees and guiding them to activities
- Snapping photographs of the fun throughout the evening

No special skills are required — just a willingness to pitch in and help make this year’s Halloween celebration one to remember. Volunteers can expect to work alongside neighbors in a lighthearted atmosphere while making a meaningful contribution to the event’s success.
To sign up, email Brian Rogers, HOA Board President for Georgetown Colony, at brogers5834@gmail.com. Even a small commitment of time can make a big difference.
So dust off your skeleton gloves, bring your community spirit, and help create some Halloween magic for families across The Colonies. The event promises to be frightfully fun — and your help is what makes it all possible.
