Harris County Precinct 4, led by Commissioner Lesley Briones, is hosting a Vendor Open House on Thursday, Aug. 20, followed by a Precinct 4 Town Hall on Saturday, Aug. 22. Both events are open opportunities for community engagement, although each has a different focus.

Precinct 4 Vendor Open House Set for Aug. 20

The Vendor Open House is being presented in connection with the office of Texas State Senator Borris L. Miles, District 13, BakerRipley and the Harris County Purchasing Agent.

Just two days later, Precinct 4 will host a broader community event where residents can learn about county resources and meet Commissioner Lesley Briones.

The Town Hall will include opportunities to meet the commissioner, learn about disaster preparedness resources and see a high-water vehicle used in emergency response.

The afternoon will also include performances and family-friendly activities, making the event accessible to residents who would like to bring children while learning more about county services.

Perhaps most importantly for residents who have questions about issues affecting their community, Precinct 4 is encouraging attendees to share their voices and engage directly with the commissioner’s office.
