Tomball ISD to Host 43rd Annual Patriotic Show on October 16
For 42 years, Tomball ISD has remained steadfast in its commitment to honoring its local veterans all while celebrating the rich and established traditions of Friday Night Lights. The Patriotic Show has always been an event that brings together the community in a way in which no other district event does.
The Patriotic Show features Tomball High School vs. Tomball Memorial High School and the competitive rivalry between these two schools remains intact yet remains focused on community unity and the support of the veterans. This year's installment will be held on October 13 at Tomball ISD Stadium located at 20235 Cypress Rosehill Road in Tomball. Gates open at 5:30 PM and the game will kick off at 7:00 PM. Tickets for the Patriotic Show will go on sale October 8.
A show like no other, the Patriotic Show, not only provides an opportunity for a large number of students to take part whether it is football, band, cheer, dance, choir, JROTC, but it also is a dynamic atmosphere that is family-friendly and offers a halftime tribute to veterans, a fireworks display, apache helicopter, skydivers and much more.
Each year, the Tomball High School NJROTC Booster Club hosts a Veterans dinner before the game on the night of the Patriotic Show. Businesses, many of which are local, donate goods and monetary donations, to help provide a meal and door prizes for each veteran in attendance.
This event has become an incredible community event that is supported and put on by THS NJROTC Booster Club, THS NJROTC Unit, TMHS MCJROTC Unit, and many local businesses. Click here to register for the Veterans' Dinner.
