The Bridgeland, Cy-Fair Baseball Teams Advance to Regional Quarterfinals
Bridgeland High School and Cy-Fair High School baseball teams advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the region quarterfinal round this week, while Jersey Village high school concluded their season as area finalists.
Bridgeland defeated The Woodlands in a best-of-three series by the score of 1-0 and 7-6. The Bears advance to face Klein Oak in the 16-6A Region II quarterfinals in a best-of-three series scheduled as follows:
- Game 1 – 7 p.m. on May 16 at Bridgeland High School (10707 Mason Road);
- Game 2 – 7 p.m. on May 17 at Klein Oak High School (22603 Northcrest Drive); and
- Game 3, if necessary – 1 p.m. on May 18 at Grand Oaks High School (4800 Riley Fuzzel Road).

- Game 1 – 6 p.m. on May 16;
- Game 2 – 2 p.m. on May 18; and
- Game 3, if necessary – 30 minutes after game 2.
Tickets for games will be $5 each (adults and students) and sold online via the links above.
Jersey Village High School was defeated in a best-of-three series by Katy by the scores of 5-3 and 3-2. The Falcons finished the season as area round finalists.
