The Axeperience: A New Entertainment Venue Brings Elevated Axe Throwing Experience to Tomball

March 15 2024

A new entertainment venue has taken root in Tomball, promising a unique blend of entertainment, camaraderie, and a sense of community. The Axeperience, which opened up its doors in late February 2024, is set for a grand opening celebration on March 16. This venture is the brainchild of the local veteran family - Jackie Parker, her husband Justin Viereck, a former Marine, and her brother Aron Parker.

The Axeperience, located at 11715 Spring Cypress Road in Suite A, offers two distinctive ways to engage with the popular sport of axe throwing. Eight lanes are split evenly between traditional targets and innovative digital projector games, offering a modern twist on a time-honored hobby.

Upon entering the Axeperience, one is immediately met with an elegant, inviting front lobby area, setting the tone for the warm hospitality and friendly environment the venue is eager to cultivate.

Safety is a key priority at The Axeperience, and the venue has been designed with appropriate measures in place to ensure a worry-free experience for kids. Supervised sessions and kid-friendly equipment make The Axeperience a family-friendly destination.

Taking their innovation on the road, The Axeperience also offers an Axe Throwing Mobile Bar, which includes 2 hours of non-stop axe-throwing action at your chosen location. In fact, The Axeperience initially began as a mobile business, operating for nearly one year before the owners decided to plant roots with a brick-and-mortar location.

The decision to transition to a brick-and-mortar business from mobile service was inspired by the family's ambitious goals of franchising down the road and building a lasting legacy. The Axeperience also embraces community involvement, planning to cross-promote with local businesses and donate a portion of their proceeds to non-profit organizations at least once per month.

The path to opening The Axeperience was a journey, taking nearly nine months from concept to execution. When asked why they chose axe throwing, Jackie Parker said, “My husband and I went on a date night, he really enjoyed it, and I decided it would be a great business to run. My husband is a disabled vet, but he loves knives and throwing knives so it fit well for our family.”

Through The Axeperience, the Parker-Viereck family has added a fresh, exciting dimension to the entertainment landscape of Tomball, marking an inspiring chapter in their family's narrative, and a fun, safe, and thrilling experience for the local community.
