Starting this year, the company will increase its official holidays from four to six, adding Memorial Day and Labor Day to its existing list. For Williamsburg Settlement residents, trash pickup continues on Mondays and Thursdays, with recycling collected every Monday. However, if a scheduled service day falls on a holiday, collection will be postponed until the next regularly scheduled pickup day.
To ensure smooth and efficient collection, residents are reminded to follow Texas Pride’s trash and recycling guidelines, including:

Household Trash: Place in containers between 20–96 gallons or sturdy bags not exceeding 50 lbs. Position near the garage or side-yard gate by 6:30 a.m. on collection days.

Yard Waste: Bag or place in cans under 50 lbs. Tree branches must be tied into bundles no longer than 4 feet and under 50 lbs.

Bulk Items: Up to two heavy items (e.g., furniture, appliances, carpet) may be placed curbside on collection days.
