Submitting Exterior Modifications for Review in Canyon Gate
With spring finally here, it's the perfect time to take care of some outdoor projects like painting, repairing or replacing a fence, replacing siding and much more. But did you know that exterior modifications need to be submitted to your HOA for review?
In order to provide and protect each individual homeowner’s rights and home values, a homeowner must submit a Home Improvement Approval Request form when considering improvements or changes to the home or property. This request needs to be submitted to the Architectural Control Review Committee. Please note that if any change is made that has not been approved, the HOA has the right to require the homeowner to remove the improvement or changes from the property.

In order to be reviewed by the ACC committee all submissions for additions, alterations, or improvements must include:
- Sketches
- Site plan (the survey) showing the house
- Lot lines
- Dimension
- Easements
- Elevations (including side views) showing dimension
- Photos that are adequate to describe and illustrate the project in detail
For any exterior painting requests, a colored photo of the current color scheme and sample of the proposed point to be used must be included with this application.
