Stay Informed: Sign Up for Alerts from Westlake MUD No. 1

September 26 2024

Westlake Municipal Utility District No. 1 is committed to keeping residents of Westlake Forest informed with its new District Alert System. This digital notification service is designed to quickly relay important information regarding water, sewer, drainage, and other district-related events directly to your phone or email.

What to Expect from Notifications

When you sign up for this free service, you’ll receive timely text and/or email alerts that explain the basics of a situation, along with a link to more detailed information on the District website. Whether it's a temporary water service interruption, boil water notices, flood warnings, or notifications about upcoming community events and elections, you’ll be kept in the loop.

Tailored Notifications Just for You

One of the best features of the notification system is that it’s tailored to your specific neighborhood or zone. For example, if there’s a scheduled water outage for a particular street, only residents in that area will receive the alert. This way, you won’t be inundated with unnecessary notifications that don’t apply to you.

How to Register

Ready to stay updated? It’s easy to register! Simply visit Westlake MUD No. 1 Alerts to fill out the registration form. You can add multiple phone numbers and email addresses at no cost. While there are no strict limits, we recommend that at least two members of each household sign up to ensure everyone stays informed. Your address will help us determine your specific notification zone.

Residents can opt out at any time by replying “Stop” to any text notification, ensuring your preferences are always respected.

Privacy Matters

Rest assured, your contact information will only be used by the District and its consultants for the purpose of resident notifications. It will never be made public, shared, or sold.

Have Questions?

If you have any questions about the alert system or how to register, feel free to reach out via the Contact Us page on the District website.
