Star-Studded Big As Texas Festival Arrives in Conroe

May 10 2024

The biggest outdoor Country music festival in Texas, dubbed the The Big As Texas Festival, has finally arrived near Houston. Kicking off from May 10th through 12th, 2024 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe, the festival is set to feature a star-studded lineup of country and American music acts.

Headlining acts such as Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, and Billy Strings will share the stage with giants of the genre including Dwight Yoakam, Los Lobos, Tracy Byrd, and Clay Walker. Up-and-coming talents like Morgan Wade, Warren Zeiders, Maddie & Tae, Breland, and others also take part. Texas will be proudly represented by artists such as Midland, Jamestown Revival, Amanda Shires, and Montgomery County's very own Kate Watson.

Designed to celebrate and showcase the integral role of country and Americana music in both the historical and modern cultural tapestry of Texas, the festival's lineup is a blend of modern superstars, established legends, Grammy-award winners, and emerging talents. Over 26 hours of live music from more than 35 artists will be spread across the fairground's sprawling 75+ acre site to an expected audience of over 50,000 attendees.

The festival will offer more than just live music. Expect an eclectic mix of activities, including open-fire grilling with local chefs, custom car shows, equestrian exhibitions, carnival games, immersive art installations, and much more. A limited number of attendees will have the opportunity to camp under the stars, with exclusive late-night performances for overnight guests.

Behind the scenes, the festival organizers, including Steve Said, best known for supporting the legendary Country music venue Dosey Doe, and Trey Diller, a lifelong resident and community advocate of Conroe, are working tirelessly to ensure an unforgettable festival experience.

In the wake of rising suicide rates in Montgomery County, the festival will also serve as a platform for suicide prevention, with 10% of net ticket proceeds from each individual ticket going to nonprofit organizations that support suicide death prevention.

General Admission (GA) and VIP ticket packages for the Big As Texas Festival are now available for purchase at BigAsTexasFest.com. VIP packages, categorized using true Texan BBQ terminology, offer perks ranging from private lounges with premium spirits to front-row main stage viewing, and exclusive food offerings.
