Southcreek Fall Garage Sale Set for October 17; Volunteers Needed for Neighborhood Events
Southcreek Village residents in Copperfield can start clearing space for the neighborhood's Fall Garage Sale on Saturday, October 17, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help set out signs for the sale.
The sale gives neighbors a seven-hour window to shop and sell secondhand finds. Clothing, kitchenware, books, toys, home décor and furniture are among the items highlighted for the community sale.
Sale hours and sign removal
Residents preparing to participate can sort their items, check their condition and label prices ahead of the 7 a.m. start. Keeping merchandise organized by type can make it easier for shoppers to browse.
All sale signs must be removed by 4 p.m. on October 17, two hours after the sale ends. Residents putting up signs should plan for that same-day cleanup as well as their morning setup.
For questions about the garage sale, contact ACMP at 281-855-9867. The Southcreek Fall Garage Sale flyer includes the sale hours, sign-removal deadline and contact information.
Two more Southcreek dates to save
Southcreek's October board meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 19. A meeting time, location and agenda were not included with the date; residents should check the association's meeting notice before making plans to attend.
Looking ahead to the holidays, Christmas at the Gazebo is scheduled for Saturday, December 12. Sponsors and volunteers are being sought to help with the celebration. Event hours and a street address have not yet been provided.
For residents who want to help with upcoming neighborhood activities, the current opportunities include garage-sale signage and sponsorship or volunteer support for Christmas at the Gazebo.
