Shop Unique Gifts at LSC-CyFair’s Holiday Art Sale and Student Art Showcase
Lone Star College-CyFair is hosting its second-annual Holiday Art Sale and Student Art Showcase, offering the community a chance to shop for unique, limited edition gifts this holiday season. The event will be held on December 3-4 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Center for Academic and Student Engagement (CASE) Room 114-116.
The Holiday Art Sale provides an opportunity for art lovers to purchase original works from talented student artists, with a portion of proceeds supporting the students directly and funding the college’s visual and performing arts programs.

“With the success of our first Holiday Art Sale last fall, we have doubled the opportunities for art lovers to shop for unparalleled artistry while supporting our uniquely talented student artists,” said Kelley Eggert, LSC-CyFair ceramics professor and sale coordinator. “This sale provides a public venue where our students can show and sell their exceptional work.”
In addition to the Holiday Art Sale, the college’s Bosque Gallery will host the semi-annual Student Art Showcase from November 21 through December 6. The showcase will feature a variety of award-winning student artwork, including pieces in two- and three-dimensional design, photography, ceramics, drawing, painting, and color theory. The opening reception and awards ceremony will take place on November 21 at 6:30 p.m., offering an opportunity for the public to meet the student artists and discuss their work.
“The Holiday Art Sale and the Student Art Showcase are wonderful opportunities to see and support the incredible talent our students possess,” Eggert added. “Whether you’re looking for a special gift or simply want to experience exceptional art, these events offer something for everyone.”
