Sheffield HOA Board Candidate Submissions Now Open for 2025 Election

Sheffield HOA Board Candidate Submissions Now Open for 2025 Election

October 08 2025

Residents of Sheffield have an opportunity to help shape the future of their community by stepping forward to serve on the HOA Board of Directors. The 2025 Annual Meeting of Members will include an election for one (1) open board seat, with the selected candidate serving a three-year term.

Homeowners who are interested in running are invited to submit a Candidate Information Form, which must be received by Friday, October 17, 2025. Forms can be submitted by:

The Candidate Information Form includes space to share how long the nominee has lived in Sheffield, their occupation or background, and why they believe they’d be a good fit for the Board. While answering those questions is optional, responses may be shared with the community as part of the Annual Meeting materials—contact details like address, email, and phone number will remain private.

Serving on the HOA Board is a meaningful way to make a difference, requiring attendance at Board meetings and participation in community matters. Candidates should be prepared to dedicate time each week to projects, respond to resident concerns, and potentially serve in officer roles or as committee liaisons.

However, it's important to note that not everyone is eligible. Under the Texas Property Code, individuals who have been convicted of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude in the past 20 years are disqualified from serving. Additionally, only one person per household may serve on the Board at a time.

For questions or assistance with the form, residents can contact Beth R at bethr@crest-management.com or call 281-945-4677

Whether you're a longtime neighbor or new to Sheffield, this is a great moment to consider how you can help lead and support the neighborhood by running for a seat on the Board. Every voice matters—and it starts with yours.
