Selfies with Santa Coming to Yorktown Colony Park in December
Residents of Yorktown Colony won’t have to travel far to see Santa this year. On Friday, December 13, Yorktown Colony families are invited to swing by Yorktown Colony Park between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM for a relaxed community event: Photos with Santa.
The event is meant to be easygoing—no long lines, no big crowds—just a friendly chance for neighbors to enjoy the season together. Santa will be at the park for anyone who wants to stop by and take their own pictures. Whether you’re aiming for a holiday card shot or just want to let the kids say hello, everyone’s welcome.

It’s a simple idea that brings people together: a familiar place, familiar faces, and a little time to pause during a busy season. Families can snap photos, chat with neighbors, and take a breather before the holiday rush kicks in.
No need to RSVP or dress up unless you want to—just come as you are and enjoy a bit of local holiday tradition. After all, the best part of this season often comes from small, meaningful moments like this one.
