Save the Date: Harris County MUD 81 to Host Annual Community Shred Day
Mark your calendars for a FREE and secure community event that's just around the corner. On October 12, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., join us at 805 Hidden Canyon Drive for our much-anticipated Annual Community Shred Day!
This is your chance to safely dispose of those old documents and papers cluttering your home. Our shred truck will be conveniently parked in the lot across from the Harris County MUD 81 office, and we’re excited to help you get rid of up to 5 boxes of paper. Watching your documents being shredded right on-site gives you that extra peace of mind, knowing your personal information is securely destroyed.
Here’s what you need to know:
What You Can Bring:
- Up to 5 boxes of paper
- Paper clips and staples (but no metal binders or binder clips)
- Loose papers (no plastic bags, please!)
What Cannot Be Accepted:
- Metal binders or binder clips
- Wet paper
- Hard drives, CDs, video tapes, or film reels
- Boxes (please bring your paper loose and we’ll return the box to you)
This event is exclusively for Harris County MUD 81 residents, so it's a great opportunity to clear out those old documents while connecting with your neighbors. It’s easy, secure, and a big help in protecting yourself from identity theft.
