Santa’s Coming to Heritage Park West: Join the Katy Fire Department for a Magical Night of Cheer
Get ready for lights, sirens, and sleigh bells—Santa Claus is making a special stop in Heritage Park West on Wednesday, December 18, as part of the 2025 Katy Fire Department Santa Tours.
Each year, the City of Katy Fire Department brings holiday magic right to the streets of local neighborhoods, and Heritage Park West is once again on the list. With Santa riding atop a decorated fire engine and firefighters tagging along, the evening promises cheer, excitement, and heartwarming community spirit.
This year’s Santa parade will depart from Station 1 on Avenue D at 6:00 PM, so keep an eye out and listen for the sirens as Santa rolls through your street. Since timing can vary depending on the distance from the station, families are encouraged to be ready early and use the KFD Sleigh Tracker HERE to follow Santa's exact location in real time.

Don’t forget your donations! Firefighters traveling with Santa will be collecting new, unused toys as well as non-perishable and canned food items. All collected goods will go to Katy-area charities, food pantries, schools, and churches. It’s a joyful way for families in Heritage Park West to give back and make a difference during this season of giving.
The Katy Fire Department will post the full route for each night—including streets in Heritage Park West—on their official Facebook page each morning. In case of rain or inclement weather, updates will be shared by 4:00 PM the same day.
So grab your mugs of hot cocoa and holiday spirit—and join your neighbors in welcoming Santa to the heart of Heritage Park West!
