REMINDER: Hearthstone Chili Cook-Off & Local Heroes Appreciation Party Heats Up the Neighborhood
Hearthstone neighbors are invited to spice things up at a feel-good, flavor-filled afternoon during the upcoming Chili Cook-Off and Local Heroes Appreciation Party. The community gathering takes place Sunday, January 18 at 2 PM at the Park Pavilion, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
This free, family-friendly event, hosted by the Hearthstone Homeowners Association, promises more than just hearty bowls of chili—it’s also a meaningful opportunity to celebrate and thank local heroes who serve the community every day. Attendees will have the chance to meet and connect with special guests, including one of the area’s constables, members of Cy-Fair Fire Department Station 9 (with their fire truck on site), and a veteran from Camp Hope, a local organization supporting wounded warriors. The event offers a relaxed setting for residents to show appreciation and for families to learn more about the people who help keep the community safe.

From seasoned chili pros to home kitchen enthusiasts, the event is calling all Hearthstone residents who think they’ve got the best recipe around. There’s still time to register for the cook-off competition—just click here to register if you’re ready to throw your hat (and ladle) into the ring. Winners will take home bragging rights and fun prizes.
And for football fans, there’s no need to choose between chili and the playoffs. A large screen will be set up to stream the playoff game, turning the afternoon into a neighborhood watch party as well. Guests are encouraged to wear their team colors, grab a bowl of chili, and enjoy the game together—Texas-style.
Be sure to mark your calendar, invite your neighbors, and come hungry. With great food, community spirit, local heroes, and football on the big screen, it’s shaping up to be a warm and memorable January afternoon in Hearthstone.
