REMINDER: Copperfield Residents Invited to National Night Out 2025 - A Celebration of Safety, Community, and Connection
The Copperfield Community Association is inviting residents to come together for the annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Copperfield Community Center parking lot adjacent to Labay Middle School.
This nationwide initiative, launched in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch, encourages neighbors to build stronger ties with one another while connecting directly with law enforcement and first responders. For Copperfield, it has become a beloved tradition—a fall evening when porch lights are switched on, neighbors gather outdoors, and the community’s focus turns to both safety and camaraderie.
A Night for Families and Neighbors
The 2025 Copperfield celebration will include opportunities for children and adults to explore emergency vehicles, meet deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, and chat with members of the Cy-Fair Fire Department. Families can also enjoy community booths, light refreshments, and giveaways throughout the evening.
National Night Out is recognized across thousands of cities in the United States. While many communities host it in early August, Texas observes the event in October to take advantage of cooler fall weather—making it an ideal time for families to spend the evening outdoors.

More Than an Event—A Reminder
For Copperfield, National Night Out is more than just an evening of fun. It is a reminder that public safety and community well-being begin with relationships. The annual gathering reinforces a simple but powerful message: when neighbors know one another and work together, communities thrive.
