QuikTrip Breaks Ground on New Convenience Store and Gas Station in Cy-Fair
A new QuikTrip convenience store and gas station is coming to the Cy-Fair area near Cypress. Construction has begun on the site at 10951 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065, a location that was previously occupied by a CapitalOne Bank branch, which had been vacant for several years. This new store will join nearby discount retailers such as Ollie’s, Ross, and an upcoming Burlington within Steeplechase Center. According to TDLR, construction of the new QuikTrip in Houston is slated to wrap up in mid-June 2025.
QuikTrip, a privately held company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 1958 and has since grown into one of the largest and most successful convenience store chains in the United States. The new Cy-Fair location will mark the company’s fourth store in the Houston area and its first Houston store that is not located on a major freeway. The move is part of QuikTrip’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence across Texas and beyond. With over 1,000 stores in 17 states, QuikTrip has earned a reputation for high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and its commitment to giving back to local communities by donating 5% of net profits to charitable organizations.
