Paetow High School’s 2nd Annual Homecoming Parade Brings Community Night
For King Crossing families looking for a nearby way to celebrate the start of fall and connect with the larger Katy community, Paetow High School is bringing back a new homecoming tradition that quickly became a community event.
The 2nd Annual Paetow High School Homecoming Parade is set for Monday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the school, located at 23111 Stockdick School Road in Katy. The evening will include a parade along with food trucks, a DJ, yard games, performances by Paetow’s fine arts students and other activities.
A New Paetow Homecoming Tradition Returns
This will be the second year for Paetow’s community homecoming parade. The school held its inaugural parade in September 2025, followed by a tailgate-style celebration with food trucks, games and music at Panther Stadium.
For King Crossing residents, the event offers more than a traditional school celebration. It is also an opportunity for families, students and neighbors to spend an evening together while supporting the students who make up Paetow’s athletic, fine arts and extracurricular programs.
Paetow’s own orchestra calendar also lists the Sept. 28 homecoming parade among its upcoming events for the 2026-27 school year.
What King Crossing Families Should Know Before They Go
The celebration runs from 6 to 9 p.m., with food trucks scheduled to stop taking orders at 8:30 p.m.
Organizers are asking visitors to park in Paetow High School’s back lot near the athletics entrance, or use available parking at Bethke Elementary School or Stockdick Junior High.
For King Crossing families with younger children, teenagers or Paetow alumni in the household, the homecoming parade provides an easy way to experience the school’s Panther spirit without needing a ticket to a football game or formal school event.
Paetow High School, located at 23111 Stockdick School Road, is the Katy ISD high school serving King Crossing students. The 2026-27 school year also marks Paetow’s 10th anniversary, giving this year’s homecoming celebration added meaning for students, families and the surrounding community.
As the tradition enters its second year, the parade is becoming another way for students and surrounding neighborhoods to come together during homecoming week.
