Oak Park Trails Splash Pad Reopens for the 2026 Season

Oak Park Trails Splash Pad Reopens for the 2026 Season

March 12 2026

As warmer weather settles into the Katy area, families in Oak Park Trails once again have a popular way to cool off close to home. The neighborhood Splash Pad has officially reopened for the 2026 season, offering residents a family-friendly outdoor destination just minutes away.

Located at 2103 Bluffton Lane, the Highland Knolls Splash Pad will remain open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. through October 31, giving families throughout the Oak Park Trails community months of access to free outdoor water play during the spring, summer, and early fall.

For many local parents, splash pads provide a safe and accessible alternative to pools, especially for younger children who want to run, play, and cool off without deep water.

New Water Features Installed During the Off-Season

Ahead of the 2026 season, the splash pad received several updates designed to enhance the experience for visiting families. During the off-season, new water features were installed, adding fresh elements to the play area and creating more interactive options for kids enjoying the facility.

The additions build on the splash pad’s reputation as a go-to neighborhood spot where children can run through sprays, fountains, and interactive water elements while parents relax nearby.
