Oak Park Trails Neighbors Invited to Gather for National Night Out Celebration
Residents of Oak Park Trails are invited to come together for a special evening of community fun during this year’s Neighborhood Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, at Oak Park Trails Park, located at 2103 Bluffton Lane. The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is part of the nationwide National Night Out campaign.
National Night Out is a community-building initiative that strengthens relationships between residents and local first responders, while encouraging neighbors to connect with one another. For Oak Park Trails, it’s also an opportunity to share a fun evening with family, friends, and community partners.

This year’s gathering will feature ice cream treats for everyone, a bounce house for kids to enjoy, and the chance to meet Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies. Organizers also hope to welcome the Harris County ESD 48 Fire and Emergency team—if community needs allow—with a fire truck on display for children and families to explore.
The goal of National Night Out, both nationally and locally, is to build safer, more caring places to live. For Oak Park Trails, the event provides a welcoming setting where neighbors can slow down, relax, and connect.
