NOTICE: Inverness Estates Memorial Day Community Event CANCELED Due to Weather Concerns
The Inverness Estates Memorial Day Community Event originally planned for Monday, May 25, from noon to 5 p.m. has been canceled due to weather concerns.
The neighborhood gathering was set to bring residents together for an afternoon of music, refreshments and community connection in Inverness Estates, including Kona Ice, a live DJ, snacks, water and soda for families and neighbors throughout the holiday afternoon.
Organizers shared that the decision to cancel the event was made with resident safety and comfort in mind as weather conditions are expected to impact the area during the Memorial Day holiday.
While the celebration will no longer take place this year, the event reflected the continued effort within Inverness Estates to create opportunities for neighbors to connect, families to spend time together and residents to build a stronger sense of community close to home.
Community events like these often serve as an important reminder of the value of neighborhood relationships, especially during holidays that bring families and residents together across the Houston area.
Residents are encouraged to stay tuned to My Neighborhood News for future community events, neighborhood updates and local happenings in Inverness Estates and surrounding communities.
