No Label Brewing Co. Wins Silver Award at Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival
Katy-based No Label Brewing Co. has made an impressive mark once again at this year's Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival, taking home a silver award from the competition.
The festival, now in its third year, was held on June 7th and 8th, 2024 at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in downtown Fredericksburg. Organized by the Fredericksburg Rotary Club, a non-profit organization, the event showcased craft beer tastings, music performances, a food court, and a 'Suds & Tastes' tent. But it isn't just all about beer and entertainment, as 80% of the festival's proceeds will go towards the Rotary’s local charitable efforts and 20% to the Hill Country Community Needs Council.

The contest, open to all Texas breweries licensed to produce and sell beer in the state, evaluated entries by a panel of experienced beer judges and volunteers from across Texas.
That is where No Label Brewing Co. shone, winning a silver award in the 'Wood-Aged Beer' category for their 'Perpetual Peace', a Texas-Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy with 12.3% ABV that is aged in whisky barrels for over 6 months, allowing it to absorb delicate oak tannins, subtle vanilla notes, and the rich essence of whiskey, perfectly complementing its malty sweetness. Perpetual Peace has won many awards, including a gold award in the 2024 World Beer Cup, a gold medal in the 2023 Denver International Beer Competition, a silver medal in the 2022 Texas Craft Brewers Cup, and silver in the 2022 Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival Competition.
Family-owned and operated, No Label Brewing Co. was founded by Katy natives Brian and Jennifer Royo, opening to the Katy community in 2010. Their onsite brewery produces handcrafted ales and lagers with a casual, family and dog-friendly environment.
