New Wimbledon Estates and Wimbledon Forest Bunko Group Seeks Players
Cindy Angelo is recruiting a women’s dinner Bunko group for neighbors in Wimbledon Estates and Wimbledon Forest. She is seeking 12 regular players and two or three substitutes. Once the group is filled, she hopes to begin in January 2027, meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. The start date and individual meeting dates are tentative.
How the Group Would Work
Players would rotate hosting in their homes. Each host would provide dinner, which could be homemade or ordered, plus water and perhaps iced tea. Participants would bring any other drinks they want. After dinner, the group would play two Bunko games at three tables of four. Angelo says newcomers can learn the dice game easily.
Each player would contribute $5 for prizes awarded after play for the most Bunkos, most wins, least wins and last Bunko. The group will choose host months after 12 regular players sign up. Substitute players would be contacted when a regular cannot attend.
Because the group is still forming and will meet in members’ homes, there is no confirmed first meeting or fixed public venue.
