New Verizon Store Coming to Cross Creek Plaza as Four New Cell Towers Announced for the Fulshear-Katy Area in 2025
A new retail option is on the way for Fulshear-area residents seeking wireless services and support. Verizon has announced plans to open a store at Cross Creek Plaza, located at 27117 Fulshear Bend Drive, Suite 200, Fulshear, TX 77441, within close reach of Cross Creek Ranch, Cinco Ranch II, and Westheimer Lakes neighborhoods.
The project is slated to begin in early August 2025, with completion anticipated by late October 2025. According to an official permit filing, the store will be built out from an existing first-generation shell space, transforming it into a 2,500-square-foot Verizon retail facility designed for mercantile occupancy. No additional site work is planned for the exterior.
With an estimated construction cost of $250,000, the new Verizon store is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance customer access to mobile devices, wireless plans, and technical support throughout Fort Bend County and surrounding communities.

Wireless Coverage in Fulshear Area Set for Major Boost
The Cross Creek Ranch area and surrounding Fulshear neighborhoods are experiencing a major boost in wireless infrastructure, with the Fulshear City Council approving four new cell phone towers so far in 2025. These include a 75-square-foot multi-carrier tower at Primrose Park in downtown Fulshear, a 150-foot-tall monopole tower at Eagle Landing Park, new cellular equipment at the Cross Creek Bend Water Plant, and another tower planned along FM 359.
Combined with existing equipment on the Cross Creek Ranch water tower, these upgrades are expected to significantly improve wireless coverage and reliability across the region—timed with the arrival of a new Verizon store in the Cross Creek Ranch area to meet growing demand from residents and businesses
