New Childcare Center Brings Early Education Innovation to Fulshear: The Learning Experience Set to Open in Jordan Ranch
Families in the growing Jordan Ranch community will soon have a new option for quality early childhood education. The Learning Experience, a national childcare and early education brand, is set to break ground at the end of January 2026 on a new 10,000-square-foot facility at 3810 Jordan Ranch Blvd. in Fulshear, with construction slated for completion by the end of August 2026.
The $3.2 million project, located in Fort Bend County near Firethorne and Cross Creek Ranch, represents a growing investment in the Fulshear area, one of the fastest-developing suburbs in the Greater Houston region. The new facility aims to serve infants through kindergarten-aged children, offering a curriculum designed to foster academic, social, and emotional development in a safe, purpose-built environment.
A National Brand with a Local Footprint
Founded in 2002 by the Weissman family—who also previously grew the Tutor Time brand—The Learning Experience now operates hundreds of centers across the country. Their model blends early education with nurturing care, creating a structured but playful setting where children are encouraged to explore, socialize, and build foundational skills.
The brand’s proprietary L.E.A.P.® (Learning Experience Academic Program) curriculum is the cornerstone of its offerings. Structured around six stages of early development, the program introduces age-appropriate learning through hands-on activities, STEM-based lessons, and interactive digital tools like L.E.A.P. Interactive® boards.

Designed for Safety, Growth, and Exploration
One of the key features of The Learning Experience is the thoughtful design of its facilities. The Fulshear center is poised to reflect these national standards, with security-focused features such as key fob-only entry, cameras in every classroom, and furniture sized specifically for young learners. Playgrounds are separated by age group to ensure safety and developmentally appropriate play.
Inside the classrooms, the attention to detail continues. Each room is tailored for specific age groups, with curated materials and technology to support their educational journey. Children will also engage with Make Believe Boulevard®, an interactive “mini main street” classroom designed to develop social-emotional skills through dramatic play.
Inclusive and Connected Learning
The Learning Experience centers are built to support all learners, including children with special needs. Educators collaborate with families and specialists to craft individualized plans to support each child’s development.
Families can also stay in-the-loop throughout the day via “Bubbles and Friends,” the center’s secure parent communication app, which provides real-time updates, daily photos, and monthly newsletters.

A Welcome Addition to the Fulshear Community
As the Fulshear-Katy corridor continues to expand, residents are placing increased importance on accessible, high-quality early education options. The arrival of The Learning Experience will likely be a welcome resource for parents seeking a childcare solution that blends educational rigor with emotional support.
While tuition rates for the new Fulshear location have not yet been released, they are expected to align with other premium childcare providers in the region. Each franchise is locally owned and operated, with pricing based on local market conditions.
Looking Ahead
Construction at the Jordan Ranch location began in late January 2026 and will continue through the summer. Once completed, the 10,000-square-foot center will offer space for classrooms, age-specific playgrounds, and dedicated enrichment areas for music, engineering, fitness, and imaginative play.
Families interested in enrolling or learning more about The Learning Experience in Fulshear can follow updates directly from the local center as the opening date approaches.
