Families across Northwest Houston looking for a lively night of music and cultural entertainment will soon have a chance to experience one of Canada’s rising Celtic music groups when Next Generation Leahy takes the stage in Spring, Texas.

Presented by Cypress Creek F.A.C.E. (Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment), the family-friendly performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at The Centrum, located at 6823 Cypresswood Drive in Spring. The event brings together music, dance, and youthful energy in a show designed to delight audiences of all ages throughout the Cypress Creek, Spring, and North Houston communities.

For residents seeking live music events near Spring TX, family-friendly concerts in Northwest Houston, or St. Patrick’s season Celtic performances, the evening promises a vibrant celebration of musical heritage and youthful talent.

A Musical Family Carrying Forward Celtic Traditions

Next Generation Leahy is made up of six siblings ranging in age from 15 to 24, each contributing to a performance that blends multiple musical traditions with energetic stage presence.

Their concerts feature fiery instrumentals, intricate vocal harmonies, and electrifying step dancing, drawing inspiration from Celtic and Irish roots while incorporating elements of Jazz, French Canadian, and contemporary pop influences. The result is a dynamic show that mixes tradition with modern energy.

The group recently gained international attention when they earned a Golden Buzzer on the Quebec version of “America’s Got Talent,” propelling the young performers further into the spotlight. Their performances showcase a range of instruments including fiddles, accordions, drums, and vocals, alongside synchronized dance routines that reflect the rich cultural traditions behind Celtic music.

For audiences across the Houston area performing arts scene, the performance offers a chance to experience a rising act whose music reflects both heritage and innovation.

A Night Designed for Families and Music Lovers

Organizers say the concert is intentionally designed as an accessible, family-centered cultural event, welcoming both longtime Celtic music fans and newcomers curious about the genre.

“We are absolutely delighted to bring Next Generation Leahy to Houston,” said Bob Schefferine, Executive Director of Cypress Creek F.A.C.E. “If you’re looking for something that will leave you smiling and tapping your toes, please join us on March 21 and experience this amazing show for yourself!”

The evening offers an opportunity for families across Spring, Cypress Creek, Klein, and North Houston to enjoy a live arts performance without traveling into central Houston’s theater district.
