You know fall is around the corner when the famous PSL (pumpkin spice latte) is back at STBX for its 19th year. Revered for its rich, decadent fall flavor, the PSL brings to mind all things fall. Cooling temperatures, spiced candles, cozy blankets, sweaters, warm beverages, more time outdoors and good conversation with good friends. Festivals abound on the weekends and plans are in motion for the holidays. Pumpkin patches start popping up at local churches and craft stores are oozing with all the cutest fall projects and decor imaginable.

Did you know that many other coffee shops make fall beverages, too? Stop by your neighborhood coffee shop to check out their seasonal beverages and support local businesses. There are also thousands of recipes for homemade pumpkin lattes you can make in the comfort of your own kitchen, like this one with real pumpkin puree. Not much of a coffee drinker? If you're into hot cocoa, you can add pumpkin spice to your next cup of warm, chocolatey goodness with recipes like this one.

For those who like to bake, I'm a little partial to just about anything made by Sally's Baking Addiction. After trying my hand at many of her recipes, the final product has always come out even better than I could have imagined. From pumpkin cinnamon rolls to caramel apple upside down cake, Sally's Baking Addiction has dozens of recipes for fall goodies that are sure to please. Baking with iconic fall flavors like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove will fill your home with the most comforting aroma that only fall can bring.

Fall candles like Yankee Candle's Autumn Wreath or Crisp Fall Night will instantly fill your home with the scents of fall, too. Another fun, simple and inexpensive hack to bring the smell of fall into your house is by putting a few cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg, whole cloves, a vanilla bean, orange slices and some water in a small sauce pan on low heat. Chances are, you already have most of these ingredients in your pantry so put them to work by making your home smell like the cozy fall season.

Check out our Community Events page for fall festivals and events coming up, with more being added to the calendar over the next few weeks as we approach the official kickoff to the fall season. Plan ahead, invite your friends and celebrate the fall season right in your community. And don't forget to pick up your first PSL of the season, especially with someone you care about!
