Mark Your Calendars: Keep Fulshear Beautiful Returns April 5th with Clean-Up, Recycling and Special Exhibits
Residents of Fulshear and surrounding areas are invited to participate in the Keep Fulshear Beautiful event, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Irene Stern Community Center. This bi-annual initiative brings together volunteers, city officials, and community organizations for a day of environmental stewardship and beautification projects.
Organized in collaboration with the City of Fulshear and nonprofit Forever Fulshear, Keep Fulshear Beautiful aims to enhance the city's natural beauty while promoting sustainability. The event will feature multiple community-focused activities, including:

Community Clean-Up: Volunteers will help remove roadside debris and beautify public spaces.

Drive-Through Electronic Recycling & Paper Shredding: Residents can responsibly dispose of old electronics and confidential documents.

Pollinator Garden Replanting: A hands-on opportunity to plant native flowers that support local pollinators.

Special Birds of Prey Exhibition: A unique wildlife education experience featuring live raptors.

A Growing Tradition of Community Engagement
Keep Fulshear Beautiful first launched in 2011 and has grown in participation each year. The initiative aligns with the city’s commitment to sustainability and is part of the Keep Texas Beautiful program, a statewide effort dedicated to community improvement. Fulshear’s dedication to this cause has earned the city Silver Star Affiliate status, one of the highest recognitions within the Keep Texas Beautiful network.
The event provides a meaningful way for residents to contribute to their community while earning volunteer service hours. Scout troops, students needing service projects, and environmentally conscious residents are encouraged to sign up.
