Leader Fitness Plans New 30,000-Square-Foot Gym on Kuykendahl Road in Spring
A new 30,000-square-foot Leader Fitness gym is planned for 22606 Kuykendahl Road in Spring, adding another locally based fitness option to the growing corridor between Spring, Klein and Tomball.
Construction on the estimated $2.25 million project is scheduled to begin Aug. 15, 2026, and reach completion by Dec. 31, 2026, according to project filing information. The scope of work calls for the ground-up construction of a workout gymnasium in Harris County.
An official opening date has not been announced. Construction completion also does not necessarily indicate when the gym will begin welcoming members, as equipment installation, inspections and final preparations may follow.
Leader Fitness Expands Beyond Tomball
The Spring location would expand a fitness brand that began in Tomball and has grown into a gym community of more than 1,000 members.
Leader Fitness traces its roots to 2020, when the company started as a sports nutrition business. By 2021, its owners were developing plans for a facility combining specialized training equipment, supplements and recovery amenities. The current gym opened at 321 S. Persimmon St. in Tomball after approximately 18 months of development.
The company markets the Tomball facility as a destination for serious training, but its membership model also includes amenities intended for a broader range of residents, including group classes, a children’s room and recovery services.
Leader Fitness uses a rhinoceros as its brand symbol, representing what the company describes as a balance between strength and humility.
“Community is much more than belonging to something; it's about doing something together that makes belonging matter,” reads a Brian Solis quotation featured by Leader Fitness.
That emphasis on community has become part of the company’s identity as it prepares to move into the Spring market.
What Does Leader Fitness Offer?
Leader Fitness has not released a final amenity list for the new Spring gym. Its Tomball location, however, offers an indication of the company’s current fitness and wellness model.
The existing gym includes more than 100 hand-selected pieces of strength and cardio equipment from brands such as Hammer Strength, Nautilus, Precor, Cybex, Prime, Arsenal Strength, Newtech Strength Equipment, Atlantis and MegaMass.
Monthly memberships and day passes at the Tomball location include:
- 24-hour gym access
- Sauna and cold plunges
- Showers
- Cardio and posing rooms
- A children’s room
- A full kitchen
- Weekly fitness classes
Current classes include HIIT training and yoga. Additional services, including massage therapy, barbershop services and hormone-related health care, are offered separately at discounted rates for members.
Leader Fitness has not confirmed which of those amenities or services will be available at the Kuykendahl Road gym.
Fitness, Supplements and Health Services
Leader Fitness operates as part of a broader group of fitness, nutrition and health-related offerings.
Leader Formulas sells sports nutrition products designed around workout performance, hydration, recovery, muscle development and general wellness. Its product line includes pre-workout formulas and creatine supplements, among other offerings.
Leader Health provides physician-guided services that include hormone therapy, weight management, sexual health, peptide therapy, recovery and longevity care.
The company has not announced whether Leader Health will operate a clinic inside the new Spring location or whether Leader Formulas products will be sold on-site. Still, the related businesses show how Leader has expanded beyond a traditional gym model by connecting exercise with nutrition, recovery and health services.
Why the Spring Location Matters
The Kuykendahl Road project would bring Leader Fitness closer to residents in Spring, Klein and north Harris County who may currently travel to Tomball to use the gym.
The location may be particularly relevant for residents searching for a 24-hour gym, strength-training facility or bodybuilding gym near Spring. It would also give the area another alternative to larger national fitness chains.
For Leader Fitness, the new facility represents a significant expansion. At 30,000 square feet, the Spring gym would provide substantial room for training equipment, classes and member amenities, although the company has not yet disclosed the building’s final interior layout.
The project also adds to continued commercial investment along Kuykendahl Road, where new businesses and services are opening near established and developing residential communities.
When Will Leader Fitness Open in Spring?
Construction is currently scheduled for completion by Dec. 31, 2026, but Leader Fitness has not announced an official opening date for the Spring gym.
Membership prices, presale offers, class schedules, operating details and the location’s confirmed equipment and amenity lineup also have not been released.
Project timelines may change as construction and permitting move forward. More information is expected as the Kuykendahl Road facility approaches completion.
