Lamkin Elementary Student Selected as CFISD Student of the Week
Lamkin Elementary School first grade student Aria Chaney is described by her teachers as a wonderful model student.

Accomplishments: Chaney is always on task. She is kind to others and puts forth her best effort every day.
Favorite class: “My favorite class is reading because it’s quiet. I love to read my favorite books which are Elephant and Piggie, the Rainbow Magic series and The Bad Guys series.”
Favorite things to do after class: “My favorite thing to do after school is to play on my iPad, read a book, play with my sister or work on a project.”
Favorite song: “My favorite song is Seize the Future from Fortnite.”
Favorite website/app: “My favorite app is ABCmouse because I like that there is a learning path and the adventure academy. I also like to play games on ABCmouse like rapid race and the word search.”
Favorite TV show: “My favorite TV show is Lego Friends because they have a new season that is really funny and the characters all have different talents.”
Favorite movie: “My favorite movie is The Parent Trap because I like how the two girls switch places and the ending is really funny.”
Ambition: “I want to be a dance teacher because I want to have my own studio and also teach kids to sing and dance. My studio would be called Aria’s Dance Studio.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am passionate about math. I love to solve problems.”
What inspires you?: “My mom and dad tell me to stand up for myself and to help students that are in need. My sister helps me to be focused and to always try my best and make new friends.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “Three things I can’t live without are my big family, food and God.”
