June 05 2024

Planning a vacation this summer? Don't leave your home vulnerable to burglaries while you're away. Fort Bend County Constable Precinct 4 offers a vacation watch service to provide homeowners with peace of mind during their absence.

Why is it important to have your house watched while you're on vacation? Statistics indicate that homes left unattended for prolonged periods are at higher risk of burglary. During the summer months, when many residents are away on vacation, burglaries tend to increase, making it crucial to take precautions to safeguard your property.

With Fort Bend County Constable Precinct 4's house watch service, deputies will routinely check your property throughout their shifts, ensuring that your home remains secure during your absence. Upon your return, you will receive a detailed list of the dates and times your residence was checked, along with a copy of your information.

Registering for the house watch program is simple. Just call 281-242-4014 Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at least 24 hours before your departure. Please note that weekend house watch requests must be submitted by Thursday, as the office is closed on weekends and holidays. Late requests will be processed the following Monday.

Once registered, you'll be issued a unique number, making it easy to reinstate your house watch for future vacations.

Don't leave the security of your home to chance. Take advantage of Fort Bend County Constable Precinct 4's house watch service and enjoy your vacation worry-free.
