Katy High School Athletes Sign with Top College Programs on National Signing Day
For Katy High School, National Signing Day once again reflected the depth and tradition of one of Texas’ most recognized athletic programs.
Seven Tigers signed National Letters of Intent, committing to compete in football, track, basketball and softball at respected universities nationwide.

- Jakson Franklin (Football) — University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
- Reid Garrelts (Football) — Colorado School of Mines
- Caden Key (Boys Track) — University of Arizona
- Isabella Small (Girls Basketball) — Southwestern College
- Ella Smith (Softball) — University of Oklahoma
- Madison Smith (Softball) — North Carolina State University
- Lexi Waugh (Softball) — UT Arlington
With commitments to Power Five programs and nationally competitive athletic departments, Katy High School continues reinforcing its reputation within Texas high school sports.
