Juanita’s Mexican Kitchen Opens New Location in Northwest Houston
Juanita’s Mexican Kitchen, a long-standing family-owned restaurant, has officially opened its new location at 11608 Louetta Road in Northwest Houston. The move comes after 17 years at their previous location at 11550 Louetta, and marks a new chapter for the Nunez family, who have been serving the community for over three decades.
“As we prepare to say farewell to our old home, we’re excited to begin this new chapter with all of you,” the Nunez family shared on social media. Initially announced in June 2023, the new restaurant is just a short distance from their former spot, and the Juanita's team has been working to finalize the last details to enhance the dining experience.

The menu at Juanita’s continues to feature a range of traditional Central Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes using authentic recipes that have been passed down from Guanajuato, Mexico. Some of the highlighted dishes include the Carne Asada Especial, a 10 oz prime Mexican fajita steak served with grilled onions and bell peppers, as well as the Baby Back Ribs, a half rack of tender BBQ pork ribs. Other offerings include Alambres—beef or chicken skewers served with vegetables—and various fajita plates, all served with rice, beans, and tortillas.
In addition to the restaurant's regular menu, guests can also enjoy the full bar service, with a selection of margaritas and other drinks available. The Nunez family has always emphasized customer satisfaction, and their new location aims to offer more space and improved service for guests, while maintaining the same commitment to quality food and hospitality that has made the restaurant a local favorite.
