Jersey Mike’s Subs Coming to Heritage Park West Area This Summer
Sandwich lovers in the Heritage Park West neighborhood will soon have a new go-to spot for fresh, made-to-order subs. Jersey Mike’s Subs is set to open a new location at The Market at Katy Park, located at 24818 Morton Ranch Rd, Suite 550, Katy, TX 77493. Construction on the 1,630-square-foot restaurant is scheduled to begin March 9, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of June 15, 2026.
This Jersey Mike’s buildout includes a full interior tenant finish-out of a new retail shell space. The $200,000 project will equip the unit with a full kitchen, updated mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and the signature finishes fans of the franchise have come to expect.
The upcoming shop is part of a continued expansion of the beloved sandwich chain in the Katy area. The Morton Ranch location will join several other Jersey Mike’s restaurants already serving the broader Houston region, including those on FM 529, Fry Road, and Grand Parkway.
Founded in 1956 on the Jersey Shore, Jersey Mike’s Subs has grown from a small storefront in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to a national brand with more than 2,700 locations across the United States. The franchise is well-known for its fresh ingredients, authentic East Coast-style submarine sandwiches, and emphasis on community involvement. Each store slices meats and cheeses to order and offers the option to have your sub prepared "Mike’s Way" — topped with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices.

Popular menu items include the “#13 Original Italian” loaded with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni, and the fan-favorite “#7 Turkey and Provolone,” made with oven-roasted turkey breast and white provolone cheese. Jersey Mike’s also serves hot subs like the “#17 Famous Philly,” featuring grilled steak, peppers, and onions.
