MIDDLEGATE NEWS AND NOTICES

Nabrnetwork, Copperfield newsletter and the marquee sign are all mechanisms carrying information from your Middlegate HOA.

Nabrnetwork is the website for Middlegate residents. To register, connect at https://middlegatevillagehouston.nabrnetwork.com/. The site is an electronic forum and features Middlegate by-laws, approved paint colors, resident directory, a messaging system to post news and photos and much more. Nabrnetwork is monitored by the Middlegate HOA Board. Ads do not support maintenance of the website. It is a service provided to Middlegate residents.

The Copperfield Newsletter is a monthly publication for all Copperfield villages. If you’d like to submit a photo or story for the Middlegate section of the newsletter, send your draft to mikeatmgv@gmail.com. Drafts submitted to the Middlegate HOA Board are reviewed before being sent to the printer. Back copies of the newsletter can be found at https://krenekprinting.com/nls.php, as well as in the "Archive" section of the Copperfield neighborhood page on this website.

The marquee sign is updated with HOA meetings and events. You can find the sign at the corner of Pinyon Creek and Lakedale, in the gazebo park.

To be in the know about Middlegate, stay tuned to all these resources.

MIDDLEGATE AND CCA

Middlegate homeowners belong to the Middlegate Village Community Association. The Association assumes responsibilities for such services as street lighting, mosquito control, common area maintenance (Middlegate parks and cul-de-sacs), pool upkeep and deed restriction enforcement.

The Copperfield Community Association provides services common to each of the villages of Copperfield. Among these are the law enforcement patrol contract, garbage collection contract; upkeep of the CCA park on Willow River, landscaping and monuments at Copperfield entrances and the perimeter fence on the periphery of Copperfield.

Each Middlegate homeowner is billed an annual assessment for the purpose of providing the revenue to cover operating costs of the Middlegate Village Community Association and Middlegate’s portion of CCA’s operating costs.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW / EXTERIOR MODIFICATION REQUEST

Please submit an Exterior Modification Request via the Crest website before beginning any project that would modify the outside of your home. You will need approval from the ACC/EMR committee to ensure the modification complies with the Middlegate Village Architectural Guidelines. Visit www.crest-management.com to first register your homeowner account. From there, you can submit an EMR via the Homeowner Portal.

If you wish to change the color of your home, the Crest Management team has a list of approved exterior paint colors. Please contact Melanee for the approved list and for any concerns to submit an EMR to obtain approval of the change. (melaneeb@crest-mangement.com).

You can utilize the EMR function to submit approval for other exterior jobs including new roof, window replacement, new fence, patio cover etc. Contact Crest with any concerns about the procedure or if you need assistance completing a request. (melaneeb@crest-mangement.com).

MAINTENANCE

Crest takes an active role in maintaining Middlegate’s common areas. To promote preventive maintenance, routine inspections of all common areas and facilities are performed by the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager. Findings are presented to the Board along with maintenance recommendations.

At the instruction of the Board, the Community Manager prepares requests for proposals for varied services including landscaping and preventive and routine repairs and playground upkeep. For more information on Crest’s association management functions, visit the Crest website.
