Inverness Estates Yard of the Month Returns May 2026 with Spring Cleanup Guidelines for Residents

May 01 2026

In Inverness Estates, curb appeal is more than appearance—it’s a reflection of neighborhood pride. Beginning this May, the community’s Yard of the Month program returns, offering residents an opportunity to showcase the care and attention they put into their homes.

Judging will take place during the final week of May, from May 24 through May 29, giving homeowners time to complete seasonal upkeep and prepare their properties for consideration. For many, the program has become a friendly tradition that highlights the collective effort residents invest in maintaining the neighborhood’s character.

Spring Cleanup Plays a Key Role in Neighborhood Appearance

As part of preparing for Yard of the Month, residents are encouraged to complete final spring cleaning tasks around their homes. These efforts not only support participation in the program but also contribute to overall property values and neighborhood appeal across Inverness Estates.

Recommended tasks include:

  • Power washing driveways, sidewalks, and home exteriors
  • Refreshing or darkening address numbers for visibility
  • Removing winter weeds and overgrowth
  • Clearing out dead or damaged shrubbery

These small but impactful improvements help create a consistent, well-maintained look throughout the community—something both residents and visitors notice.

Important Reminder: ARC Approval for Modifications

While general maintenance is encouraged, any property modifications must still go through the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for approval. This includes changes beyond routine upkeep, ensuring that updates align with established community standards.

The ARC process helps protect the long-term integrity and appearance of Inverness Estates, balancing individual property improvements with the shared vision of the neighborhood. To submit an ARC request, please visit the Vantaca portal at home.inframark.com.

Why It Matters for Inverness Estates Residents

Programs like Yard of the Month do more than recognize individual homes—they reinforce a shared sense of ownership and pride across the community. Well-maintained properties can positively influence home values, enhance neighborhood aesthetics, and foster a stronger connection among residents.

With judging set for late May, now is the time for Inverness Estates homeowners to take those final steps in spring cleanup and participate in a program that continues to celebrate what makes the neighborhood stand out.

Residents are encouraged to stay tuned to My Neighborhood News for updates on winners and future community initiatives in Inverness Estates.
