Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital Ranked No. 2 Nationally in 2025 Vizient Quality Leadership Report
Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, a cornerstone of health care for northwest Houston, has been recognized as the No. 2 hospital in the nation among large, specialized complex care medical centers by Vizient Inc.
The 2025 Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Rankings evaluate hospitals on safety, patient outcomes, efficiency, and consistency of care. Out of nearly 200 hospitals in its category, Willowbrook rose to the top tier, joining just a handful of institutions recognized nationwide.

The Vizient recognition follows another milestone for the Houston Methodist system. Earlier this year, the organization was named the No. 1 large health system in the United States by Premier Inc., based on measurable outcomes and patient experience.

Willowbrook was one of seven Houston Methodist hospitals included in the 2025 Vizient rankings, alongside Houston Methodist The Woodlands (No. 1), Baytown (No. 2), West (No. 4), Sugar Land (No. 9), Clear Lake (No. 11 among community hospitals), and Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center (No. 3 among academic medical centers).
