Homewatch CareGivers: Celebrating Two Years of Compassionate Care in Cypress
Sharan Sihota, owner of Homewatch CareGivers of Cypress, has found her purpose in serving seniors and individuals in need in Cypress. Born in India and raised in Canada, Sharan now calls Cypress her home, where she finds a sense of purpose in serving seniors and individuals in need.
Sharan's journey with Homewatch CareGivers began with her own personal experience of caring for her in-laws. This experience unveiled the significance of ensuring that individuals in need of care feel respected, safe, independent, and enabled – a philosophy that forms the backbone of her business.
"I've always had a special affection for the elderly," Sharan says. "Gleaning their wisdom, sharing life stories, and most importantly, helping them feel safe and independent in their own home is the essence of what we do at Homewatch CareGivers. Our aim is to continue educating families on the different community resources available, and in the long run, expand our horizon to support as many individuals as possible."
Celebrating their second year of service to the Cypress community, Homewatch CareGivers specializes in providing support to seniors, those recovering from surgery, chronically ill individuals, people living with disabilities, and veterans in need of assistance with daily living. Sharan's passion for her work extends beyond just business hours. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, and she continues her interest in designing home furnishings through her online store, “KaurtureInc."
Shortly after opening her business two years ago, Sharan joined the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce to help her better understand the community, network with other members, and fortify the presence of Homewatch CareGivers. To celebrate her two-year milestone, Sharan recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber.
Paula Harvey, vice president of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, shared, "Sharan's dedication to her community shines through her work with Homewatch CareGivers. The Chamber is proud to celebrate her two-year anniversary and looks forward to the continued growth of her business in our community," states Harvey.
Living with her husband, Fateh, a chemical engineer, and their three children, Sharan has firmly entrenched her roots in Cypress. As Homewatch CareGivers nears its second anniversary, Sharan looks to the future with optimism, with plans to expand Homewatch CareGivers of Cypress and help as many individuals as possible.
