Holiday Shop Kid Free: Morton Ranch HS Robotics Team to Host Parents' Night Out
The Morton Ranch HS Robotics Team, Nuts N Boltz Robotics: FRC Team 2882, is once again offering Parents' Night Out!
Drop the kids off at the Robert R. Shaw Center on Saturday, December 2 for a fun, Winter Wonderland STEAM and robotics event for students in grades 1 through 5. From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, students will enjoy hands-on STEAM learning with the award-winning Morton Ranch High School Nutz N' Boltz Robotics Team, plus a pizza dinner. Get a jump on your holiday shopping, enjoy a peaceful dinner or simply relax at home for a few hours while your kids have fun.
This event supports the MRHS Robotics Team. This past April, the Nuts N' Boltz team was one of six teams from Katy ISD to compete at the FIRST Texas District Championship meet, where they won the Spirit Award. The FIRST World Championship is an international competition where over 600 top robotics teams from around the world compete to take the prestigious title of being named a “FIRST Robotics Competition World Champion.”
