High Demand Prompts Additional Key Registration Dates for Newly Renovated Georgetown Colony Tennis & Pickleball Courts

February 26 2026

The newly renovated tennis and pickleball courts in Georgetown Colony are already generating something every neighborhood hopes for — enthusiasm.

Following the recent announcement that residents would need to register for a $20 access key through Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 102 (HCMUD 102), interest quickly surged. In response to the high demand, the Georgetown Colony HOA has opened additional dates and times to help ensure every interested resident has an opportunity to register.

For families in Georgetown Colony, this isn’t just about court access. It’s about having an upgraded, well-managed recreational space right in the heart of the neighborhood — and making sure the process to enjoy it runs smoothly.

Why the Registration Process Matters

The newly renovated courts serve both tennis and pickleball players, reflecting the growing popularity of pickleball across Houston and Harris County. As one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, pickleball has created increased demand for accessible, well-maintained courts in residential communities.

To protect the investment in the facility and ensure courts remain available to Georgetown Colony residents within HCMUD 102, a controlled key-access system has been implemented. The one-time $20 key fee helps cover administrative handling and supports responsible facility use.

With many residents eager to register, expanding the registration schedule allows for a more convenient and organized rollout.

Step 2: Attend a Registration Date with Payment
