Hearthstone Safety Report: Precinct 5 Responds to 1,069 Calls in December 2025

Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office deputies handled 1,069 total calls for service in Hearthstone throughout December 2025, continuing a consistent focus on safety and visibility despite a seasonal dip in activity from November’s 1,384 calls.

According to the latest constable’s report, the drop in total calls reflects a quieter holiday season, while deputies sustained a high level of patrols—conducting 889 contract checks in residential and commercial zones.

Community Safety Snapshot: December vs. November

  • Total calls dropped by 23% (from 1,384 to 1,069).
  • Contract checks decreased from 1,159 to 889 but remained robust.
  • Business, school, and park checks stayed steady, reinforcing community safety in public areas.

Crime activity remained low and mostly non-violent, with just:

  • 1 burglary of a building
  • 1 motor vehicle burglary
  • 1 theft
  • 2 criminal mischief reports
  • 1 evading arrest case

Notably, no assaults, no fraud cases, and no terroristic threats were reported in December, offering residents continued peace of mind.

Continued Community Engagement

Precinct 5 deputies maintained open lines of communication with Hearthstone residents:

  • 3 “Meet the Citizen” visits
  • 2 “Meet the Officer” interactions
  • 5 welfare checks and 2 follow-ups were also conducted, emphasizing care for vulnerable residents and follow-through on open cases.

Keeping Hearthstone Safe and Informed

With the start of a new year, residents are reminded to report suspicious activity, secure personal property, and make use of vacation watch programs when out of town.
