Hearthstone Heatwaves to Celebrate Senior Swimmers at Final Home Meet
The Hearthstone Heatwaves Swim Team is preparing for an emotional and exciting final home meet of the season on Saturday, June 6 at 8:30 AM, giving residents a chance to cheer on local swimmers at the Hearthstone Country Club pool while celebrating four graduating seniors from the Class of 2026.
The meet will feature a special senior recognition ceremony honoring Kendall Agonis, Livia Andrews, Christina Hill, and Sam Wagner for their dedication and leadership on the team throughout their high school years.
During the ceremony, parents will have an opportunity to speak and recognize their seniors as they take one final plunge into the pool at a home Heatwaves meet. The team noted that the graduating swimmers have helped make the Heatwaves experience memorable for teammates and families alike.
More Than Just a Swim Meet
For many Hearthstone families, summer swim is one of the neighborhood’s most cherished traditions. The Heatwaves bring together swimmers, parents, volunteers, and supporters, creating friendships and memories that often last long after the season ends.
The team expressed its appreciation for the seniors’ commitment, noting that their leadership has been “unforgettable” despite the busy schedules and early mornings that come with summer swim.
Fundraising and Team Celebrations
The final home meet will also feature the team’s Silent Auction Baskets, the last fundraising event of the season. Residents can browse and bid on baskets displayed near the concession area, with winners announced before the conclusion of the meet.
In addition, winners from the team’s Vertical Raise fundraiser will be announced during the event.
A Community Tradition Worth Supporting
Whether residents have swimmers on the team or simply enjoy supporting neighborhood activities, the final home meet offers a chance to celebrate local youth, recognize graduating seniors, and enjoy one of Hearthstone’s longstanding summer traditions.
As the Heatwaves like to say: “One Team. One Family. Heatwaves Forever!”
