What the February 2026 Data Means for Hearthstone Residents

The drop in total calls from January to February may indicate a quieter month across the Hearthstone subdivision. Traffic stops were cut in half, and welfare checks declined, while suspicious vehicle reports held steady.

Community engagement efforts increased in February, with seven total face-to-face contacts through “Meet the Citizen” and “Meet the Officer” initiatives. These interactions reflect ongoing visibility efforts inside the neighborhood — something many residents prioritize when evaluating public safety trends in Hearthstone.

Proactive patrol measures also remained strong:

  • 745 contract checks across residential streets
  • 9 neighborhood checks
  • 8 school checks near the Owens Road campus
  • 4 park checks
  • 5 vacation watches for traveling residents

While serious incidents remained limited, February included one family assault call resulting in arrest, one DWI-related call, and two firearms discharge calls that were cleared without confirmed offenses.

For homeowners monitoring local crime trends, the overall month-over-month decrease in calls may provide reassurance. At the same time, continued proactive patrol activity demonstrates sustained law enforcement presence in Hearthstone.
