Hearthstone Crime Report: Constables Respond to 1,384 Calls in November 2025
Deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 5 responded to 1,384 total calls for service in the Hearthstone community during November 2025, marking a sharp rise from October’s 613 calls. This uptick is primarily attributed to an increase in proactive contract patrols, with deputies logging 1,159 contract checks across the neighborhood.
The November constable report confirms that these patrols—designed to deter crime, build community trust, and protect property—are a cornerstone of the department’s strategy. Deputies also performed additional safety checks throughout the month, including:

Community Safety Takeaways
While the overall call volume rose dramatically, reports of major crime remained very limited, with just one burglary of a habitation and two fraud cases. The constable’s office also responded to a single case of injury to an elderly person, one assault-family incident, and one terroristic threat—all of which were handled promptly.
Deputies responded to 6 suspicious person calls and 4 reports of suspicious vehicles, with no major incidents linked to these reports. Meanwhile, 3 firearm discharges and 3 loud noise complaints were logged, though none were escalated.
Community engagement remained a priority through 5 “Meet the Citizen” visits and 2 “Meet the Officer” encounters—opportunities for residents to connect directly with the deputies who serve their neighborhood.
Proactive Patrols Continue into Winter
The notable rise from October’s 435 contract checks to November’s 1,159 highlights the constable’s continued focus on high-visibility law enforcement, especially as residents begin winter holiday travel. These patrols include vacation watch requests, which are encouraged during the busy season.
With 85 business checks and 7 checks each of schools and parks, deputies demonstrated broad commitment to covering all parts of the community—from homes to storefronts to classrooms.
