On Tuesday, March 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Hays CISD Communications is promoting a virtual Substance Abuse Prevention presentation presented by Safe Schools Institute as part of the district’s ongoing Family Wellness Series. The session is designed to give parents and guardians practical, research-based information about how substance abuse affects adolescents — and what families can do to recognize early warning signs.
For many parents in Hays CISD communities including Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, and surrounding areas, the topic hits close to home.
