Why the Community Pool Matters

Neighborhood amenities like the Harvest Bend pool offer more than just a place to escape the Texas heat. They provide opportunities for neighbors to connect, children to stay active during summer break and families to enjoy affordable recreation close to home.

For many residents, pool season has become one of the traditions that helps define summer in the community. From weekend gatherings to spontaneous afternoon swims, the facility serves as a shared space where memories are made and community connections grow.

Late Pool Registration Still Available

Residents who have not yet renewed their pool access or need a new pool identification card can still register during the late registration period, which began May 26 and continues throughout the 2026 pool season.

Late Registration Fees
  • Renewal Sticker: $2
  • New Pool ID Card: $11

Residents needing a new pool ID card during late registration must schedule an appointment with ACMP.

Appointments will be held at the ACMP office. To schedule an appointment, residents should email james@acmpinc.com

To avoid delays at the gate, residents are encouraged to verify that their pool tags, renewal stickers or identification cards are current before heading to the pool. Those needing replacements or new cards should schedule their appointment as early as possible to ensure uninterrupted access throughout the summer. Remember that any person wishing to enter the pool must have a pool ID card.

Pool Safety Reminders for a Fun Summer

As families head to the Harvest Bend pool this summer, a few simple safety practices can help everyone enjoy a safe and relaxing experience.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively supervise children at all times, even if lifeguards are present. Young swimmers and inexperienced swimmers should stay within their comfort level and use appropriate flotation devices when needed.

Residents can also help keep the pool enjoyable for everyone by walking instead of running on wet pool decks, following posted pool rules, staying hydrated during hot weather, and taking regular breaks from the sun. Bringing sunscreen, water bottles, and protective clothing can go a long way toward preventing heat-related illnesses and sunburn.

Finally, residents who are feeling ill are encouraged to postpone their pool visit until they are well. These small acts of courtesy help maintain a clean, safe environment for the entire Harvest Bend community.

By working together and keeping safety in mind, neighbors can help ensure the 2026 pool season is a fun and memorable one for everyone.

What Happens Next

With the full summer schedule now underway, Harvest Bend residents can expect regular pool operations through Labor Day weekend. Community members who have not yet completed their registration still have time to secure access and enjoy one of the neighborhood's most popular seasonal amenities.
