Harvest Bend Pool Opens for Memorial Day Weekend as Summer Season Begins
For many Harvest Bend families, Memorial Day weekend marks more than just the start of summer — it’s the unofficial beginning of pool season, neighborhood gatherings and long afternoons spent outdoors with friends and neighbors.
The Harvest Bend community pool will officially open for the Memorial Day weekend beginning Saturday, May 23, giving residents a chance to cool off, reconnect and enjoy the holiday close to home.
Pool hours for the holiday weekend are:
Harvest Bend Pool Memorial Day Weekend Hours
- Saturday, May 23: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with snacks available
- Sunday, May 24: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day): 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For families across Harvest Bend, the opening weekend is often one of the most anticipated neighborhood traditions of the year. After months of cooler weather and packed school schedules, the pool becomes a place where children make summer memories, parents catch up poolside and neighbors spend time together without having to leave the community.
The extended Memorial Day hours on Monday also give residents an opportunity to enjoy the holiday while honoring the meaning behind Memorial Day — remembering and recognizing the service members who gave their lives in service to the country.
A Summer Gathering Spot for Harvest Bend Families
Neighborhood pools often become the heart of summer activity, especially during holiday weekends. Whether residents plan to stop by for a quick swim, bring the kids for an afternoon in the water or simply enjoy time outdoors with neighbors, the Harvest Bend pool opening signals the start of a busy and active season ahead.
Residents are encouraged to help keep the pool area safe and enjoyable for everyone by supervising children closely, staying hydrated and following all posted pool rules throughout the weekend.
As summer gets underway in Harvest Bend, Memorial Day weekend offers a chance for the community to slow down, spend time together and enjoy one of the neighborhood’s favorite seasonal amenities once again.
