Halloween Spirit Returns with Spooktacular Decorating Contest in Williamsburg Settlement

Halloween Spirit Returns with Spooktacular Decorating Contest in Williamsburg Settlement

October 22 2025

Ghosts, goblins, and ghoulish décor are making a grand comeback in Williamsburg Settlement this Halloween season as the neighborhood revives its beloved Halloween Home & Yard Decorating Contest. From eerie graveyards to charmingly spooky scenes, residents are invited to show off their festive flair — and then vote for their favorites!

The contest officially kicks off with a selection of standout homes on Saturday, October 25, and community voting will take place Monday, October 27 through Wednesday, October 29. All residents will get the chance to vote for their favorite decorated homes in three spirited categories:

  • Spooktacular – For the scariest, spine-tingling decorations on the block

  • Too Cute to Spook – Showcasing family-friendly, charming Halloween fun

  • Ghoulishly Awesome – The best all-around display of Halloween creativity and effort

Only one vote per household will be accepted, so neighbors are encouraged to rally the family, hop in the golf cart, or take a spooky stroll around the neighborhood to check out the festive displays before casting their vote.

The event promises to be a fun way to bring the community together and celebrate Halloween. With a mix of fright and delight, the contest offers something for everyone to enjoy — and organizers say they’re excited to see the creativity neighbors bring to their displays.

Residents should keep an eye out for a voting link, which will be shared soon through the neighborhood’s official channels.

The Williamsburg Settlement Halloween Decorating Contest is more than just friendly competition — it’s a chance to celebrate community spirit, foster neighborhood pride, and create lasting memories for families and friends alike. Whether you’re participating or just passing by, get ready for a fang-tastic display of Halloween cheer.

Don’t miss your chance to vote and be a part of the spooky fun!
